Bruntingthorpe Lightnings

Towards the end of February Myself and my trusty mate Mark went to see the Lightning preservation group at Bruntingthorpe. The plan was that the group were going to do afterburner runs at twilight for photographers and to raise much needed funds in order to keep these magnificent warbirds in good order. Sadly the aircraft went unserviceable a few days before the set date but we went anyway. It was a bitterly cold day but dry and it was very nice to be able to get a good look around the aircraft and take pictures.Here's a few pic's.
